2020 Vernon Fish & Game Club memberships are now available for purchase online! VFGC memberships are valid from January 1 to December 31 of each year. ALL MEMBERSHIPS EXPIRE on December 31st and must be renewed manually to continue enjoying membership benefits, including range use and insurance.

Nothing could dampen the shooting spirits of the 13 people participating in the first of hopefully many Maple Seed events at the Vernon Fish and Game range on Friday the 28th of June.

The course, which is an exceptional safety and positional shooting event, was attended by 9 adult shooters and 4 youth shooters ranging in age from 12 to 60+.

There will be a range cleanup starting at 9am on Saturday, April 27th 2019.

Volunteers are needed to help cleanup debris off the range, inspect and makes repairs to the perimeter fence and clean gutters on all the buildings.

The Vernon Fish & Game Club will be hosting a Mapleseed Event on June 28th, 2019 at the VFGC Range.

This will be an exclusive event for Vernon Fish & Game Club members. We are looking for shooters to attend the first event, particularly youth members. Lunch will be provided for event participants.

The next General Meeting will be on November 20th, 2018 at the Halina Senior’s Center. Following the meeting there will be a presentation from Vernon Search & Rescue on emergency preparedness.

The June General Meeting time has been changed to 6:30pm – 7pm. There will be presentations starting at 7pm from the Ministry Fish & Wildlife Biologists to provide updates on management of Fish and Wildlife in the North Okanagan.

The Vernon Fish & Game Club hosts a Gun, Antique & Outdoor Show every year. This show is held in the Vernon Recreation Complex in August. The Show has guns, fishing equipment, antiques, collectables and outdoor items. Come and buy, swap, trade look to see what is new and exciting.

Our 86th Annual banquet and Awards night is Saturday March 10th at the Vernon Recreation Centre auditorium. Cocktails at 5 pm and dinner at 7 pm.
