Cougar Project Update Fall 2021

The BC Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development (FLNRORD) is providing information on the Emergency Motor Vehicle Closures (MVC) under the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation (MVPR) of the Wildlife Act (Section 108) over the listed major wildfire areas, as indicated in the letter attached.

2022 Vernon Fish & Game Club memberships will be available for purchase online as of November 15, 2021!

VFGC memberships are valid from January 01 to December 31 of each year. ALL MEMBERSHIPS EXPIRE on December 31st and must be renewed manually to continue enjoying membership benefits, including range use and insurance.

The Vernon Fish & Game Club 2021 Annual General Meeting will be held on August 10, 2021 at the Range on Bardolph Lake FSR at 6:30pm.

Due to measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Canadian Firearms Program is currently experiencing significant impacts to our services, like many other service providers in Canada.

Due to the Public Health requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic the Annual General Meeting scheduled for Tuesday April 21, 2020 has been postponed until further notice.

Our shooting range will remain open for members at this time.

There will not be any organized shooting events held at the range for the foreseeable future, i.e.: steel challenge, rimfire silhouette, 3D archery, etc.

The Vernon Fish & Game Club regrets to inform you that our 88th Annual Banquet and Awards Night scheduled for Saturday March 14, 2020 has been cancelled.
